What is Weevil Pond?

Weevil Pond is a student-led publication produced by the University of Arkansas at Monticello’s School of Arts and Humanities. Each spring semester, our Weevil Pond Editors evaluate and compile submissions from our campus community to be published and distributed for free.

The Weevil Pond Archive is a digital collection of previous editions of Weevil Pond. This archive was launched on April 25, 2025 and allows the work of our campus community and student editors to be accessible for free at any time.

Looking for a copy?

Copies are available for pickup year-round at the University of Arkansas at Monticello’s Center for Writing and Communication in Memorial Classroom Building (MCB)  Room 312 during the following hours:

Monday – Thursday –  10:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m.
Friday  – 10:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m.
